couple of days ago , i saw somebody with 'GM' in his nickname ( i dont know his full nick anymore.) He was a new player ad GC (15 wins, 1 lost, 2150+).
On 4th place in the list of topplayers is a player called 'GM Portugal'. (I have never seen him on GC)
of course anyone can put 'GM' in his nick ....

I'm pretty sure , UK_GM was the player i saw on GC (which full nickname i didnt now anymore.)

...which i have not seen in quite some time are...Financetto, the first GM at gamecolony, Wrath_of_GM, had a 2500+ rating playing 2/0 games, and last but probably the best, KingLoek, Loek van Wely, was 2700 fide at the time...also had a 2500+ rating playing 2/0 games.

...gamecolony should try to lure more gm's,im's,fm's, and nm's to this site.Im sure there has been many more masters that have played here than what anyones mentioned but there are probably less than any other site. Maybe offer them some tickets?!??!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
